The Quality Review is a formal evaluation by an experienced educator who assesses the school organization and whether it improves student achievement. The Quality Review report describes what the reviewer saw at the school—what life is like there—through classroom observation, document review, and conducting interviews with parents, students, and educators. The Annual Arts in School report provides information about the arts education programs currently offered to students in each school as well as the allocated resources to support them. Data is collected from the school’s response to the Annual Arts Education Survey and quantitative school data collected by the Department of Education. Learn more.

To search for a specific school’s class size data broken down by grade select the "Detailed School-level Data" report. Once you have the report open, press Ctrl-F and enter the school’s name or code in the search field.
The comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP) serves as a school's blueprint for implementing instructional strategies, professional development opportunities, and parent involvement activities that promote continuous school improvement.
Appendices to the CEP provide school-based responses to applicable NCLB/SED requirements and chancellor's regulations.
In June 2015, all Renewal Schools selected benchmarks on which to show progress in the 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17 school years. This report shows our progress on the selections made from the Renewal Schools Benchmark Menu in the spring of 2015.
August Martin has been identified by the New York State Education Department (SED) for receivership under the New York City Schools Chancellor. This means that the school must make progress on certain benchmarks to avoid placement under an independent receiver. This report also shows these receivership benchmarks.
