Senior Activities
If it is your senior year, you are in luck! We have events scheduled to close out your year with memories that will last a lifetime. Please mark your calendar so that you can enjoy and participate in these experiences.
In planning for an engaging and successful school year, we would like to prepare you and your scholar for the events that will make the close of their High School experience at August Martin High School memorable. Educational success is at the heart of our service to this community; therefore, the following requirements must be met in order for the students to participate in senior activities.
- The first is that your child will have met all their academic credits and regents requirements by June 2017. Please schedule an appointment with Ms. Velez to confirm your scholar’s graduation status.
- The second is that you have paid for your senior packet in full.
The cost of the senior dues package is $300.00. This amount is non-refundable and is due April 28.

- Graduation fees (includes graduation facility, decor, cap and gown, diploma case)

- Time: 2:00 p.m.
- Tentatively each student will receive eight tickets.

- The first 40 students that submit a down payment of $50.00 will have a reserved place on the trip.

Need help filling out a money order for the first time? Follow the step–by–step instructions below to make sure your money order is filled out completely and accurately.
Upon purchase, make sure the amount you paid matches the amount printed on the money order. Fill out your money order with a pen in large, dark letters so the details are clear and it is difficult to alter your writing.
Step 1: Payee
Write the name of the person or business you are addressing the money order to in the “PAY TO THE ORDER OF” field. In this field, you will write "August Martin High School."
Step 2: Purchaser
The purchaser is you. Whether it says “From,” “Sender,” “Remitter,” or “Purchaser,” this is where you fill in your information.
Step 3: Signature
Sign the front of the money order, and leave the back of the money order blank.
